A hit on your website, in other words when someone has clicked onto your site, is also known as a page view and this includes each time the page might be refreshed or reloaded for any reason. Each and every page view of your site that has the free counter installed on will be counted by the counter and recorded in the statistics as a separate hit, impression or page view.

There are currently no limitations on the number of page views that may be recorded. However, this could possibly change because if there were too many page views, hits or impressions this could cause the account to fall under the problem of excess usage which is discussed on the Excess Usage page.
